A silver dragonfly plique-à-jour brooch / pendant.
This brooch is silver (stamped "925") and can also be worn as a pendant.
The wings and abdomen of this brooch are set with a total of 59 round marcasite stones. This wings are also set with yellow, pink and green enamel inlay.
The eyes of this dragonfly are set with two rubies.
There is a cabochon sapphire (approx 8mm x 6mm) set within the thorax of the dragonfly.
Set within the front legs of the dragonfly is a cultured pearl.
Approximate brooch dimensions - wingspan 54mm & height 44mm
Total weight : 8.6 grams.
