Joan Scott:
Joan’s work is inspired by recollections of the local countryside and coast. She uses collage and mixed media to create something new, and is trying to translate memories of past experiences into visual form. She lets the painting lead the way so its creation becomes a journey of discovery until the final image emerges.
Blue Boat on the Beach was inspired by memories of boats on a beach. Every tide brings a different angle of rest and every fishing boat is unique.
