Provenance: Gift to Anita by Gudmar, Paris 1972 Gudmar Olovson was a Swedish sculptor who worked in the French classical style, above all with portraits. He was born in Boden but lived in Paris from 1959 and was friends with Anita Lindblom. His monumental free works can be found, for example, in Höllviken's sculpture park on Falsterbonäset in Skåne, in Boulogneskogen park in Paris and in First Hospital in Stockholm. Gudmar Olovson is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm.
