This ring is 18k yellow gold (tested and stamped "18ct"). This ring was made circa 1890.
This ring is 10-claw set with a single royal blue (possibly Sri Lankan) oval-cut natural sapphire gemstone weighing 0.85 carats, approx.
Set in a halo around the central sapphire are 10 old-cut diamonds with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, approx.
Colour of the diamonds: G-H, approx.
Clarity of the diamonds: Excellent SI, approx.
The head of this ring measures approx 12½ x 10 mm, approx. This ring features a forked shank.
