A large moth brooch / pendant combined, set with rubies and marcasite and inlaid with coloured enamel.
This item is silver (stamped "925"). It is fitted with a pin and a loop, so it is interchangeable between a pendant and a brooch.
Features of this brooch/pendant:
• Head is set with a round, brilliant-cut red ruby gemstone
• Body and wings set with 9 cabochon red ruby gemstones
• Further set with 48 round, marcasite stones
• Inlaid with enamel in colours of purple, yellow and pink
Pendant / brooch measurements: 59 x 45 mm, approx.
Total weight: 12.6 grams.
