Ghanta -Tibet/China, ritual bell, probably bronze alloy, two-piece cast, the bell body decorated with surrounding decorative friezes: on the shoulder below a wreath of narrow petals eight large lotus petals underneath horizontally placed vajras framed by rows of pearls, in the middle surrounding Buddha figures, valuables and meditation syllables, am lower edge is a chain of vertically arranged vajras between two pearl bands, the always separately worked handle with a longevity vase at the base, above it appears the crowned head of the goddess of transcendent wisdom Prajnaparamita with a moon disk, on which the 8-ribbed half-vajra rests, H.ca .15.5cm, weight approx.270g.
