A large, vintage-style dragonfly brooch in silver, with rubies, marcasites and enamel.
This brooch is silver (stamped "925").
Each wing of the dragonfly is inlaid with 3 colour enamelling and set with round, marcasite stones.
The head and body of the dragonfly are set with 26 x round, marcasite stones.
The eyes of the dragonfly are each set with a round-cut ruby.
Approximate dimensions of brooch: 80 mm x 63 mm.
Total weight: 13.2 grams.
