A gem-set, art nouveau-style dragonfly-themed silver necklace.
This pendant and necklace is silver (stamped "925").
This pendant of this necklace is set with a pear-shaped cabochon-cut amethyst gemstone in a rub over mount, positioned on the insect's back.
The tail of the insect is set with 10 x round marcasite stones.
The wings are inlaid in a multicoloured enamelling and set with several round marcasite stones.
The eyes are each set with a round cabochon-cut red ruby gemstone.
There is also a satellite pendant just above the dragonfly, set with an emerald-cut purple amethyst gemstone.
The pendant is hung on a 45cm silver chain.
Approximate pendant dimensions: 61 mm x 45 mm.
