Carl August Johansson (Härnösand 1863-Lidingö 1944) was a Swedish visual artist with influences from Impressionism. He took most of his motifs from Norrland, Ångermanland but also France, Italy and Tenerife. During his later days he came to work a lot with a specific blue tone in his mood painting and from this he later got the nickname Ultramarin-Johansson.
