"This album depicts estates of the district of Uppland just north of Stockholm. The district has always been one of the richest in Sweden, and subsequently has many fine estates. The lithographs were executed by Alexander Nay, some after his own drawings. Two versions of the work were published. The main work containing 60 plates and the present abridged version containing 15 plates. Most abridged copies have a unique mix of plates. This copy contains the following plates: Hammarskog Håtunaholm Kaggeholm Marielund Rungarn Steninge Sjö Signildsberg Skokloster Skånellaholm Söderfors Salsta Vallstanäs Vik Örbyhus.
