Manuela (E.) Reitz is a freelance artist, lives and works in her own studio in her hometown of Balve/Sauerland, North Rhine-Westphalia.
First, the artist taught herself how to draw and paint. She also took part in art exhibitions at this time. The artist began her graphic training with regional artists.
This led to her attending seminars at the European Art Academy in Trier and finally studying painting and graphics at the IBKK in Bochum. She was a student in the master class of Prof. Dr. Phil Qi Yang. Manuela Reitz tells lively stories in an expressive painting style that is accentuated by a light, drawn line.
The detailed images are also often characterized by strong lines, so that each individual element in the overall composition does not lose its independence.
