Asian Art Antique & Decorative - Alla föremål på Ma San Auction

Ma San Auction present their Asian Art, Antique & Decorative sale. The sale includes 352 lots of Chinese, Japanese, Himalayan and Southeast Asian works of art. The porcelain includes Kangxi and Qianlong period to the late Qing and Republic periods, with famille verte, famille rose, wucai and blue and white wares, including a Kangxi famille verte 'pheasant' dish and a notable group of shipwreck cargo pieces ex-Christie's from the Vung Tau and Diana cargoes.

Carved jades, agates and Canton enamels are included as well as early ceramics, from Han dynasty grey pottery jars to Song dynasty Longquan celadon and Jian hare's fur tea bowls. The bronze and stone sculptures include Buddhist and Hindu figures from China, Tibet, Nepal, India and Southeast Asia, and furniture includes a huali horseshoe back armchair and a pair of black lacquered yokeback armchairs.

The Japanese section is made up of netsuke, inro, Satsuma ware and bronzes by named makers Katsuzo Entsuba and Masuo Ikeda, and paintings include an ink and colour study by Liu Kang and works attributed to Qi Baishi.
