Sir Alfred Munnings (1878–1959) was a British artist known for his equestrian paintings, especially those depicting horses and scenes of English rural life.

Munnings was born on October 8, 1878, in Suffolk, England. He showed a talent for art from a young age and attended the Norwich School of Art.
