Stockholms Auktionsverk presents Lilla smyckeskvalitén!
A warm welcome to a generous catalogue comprising just over 120 carefully selected pieces of jewellery. Classic works are interspersed with modern design in a selection ranging from a cameo from the 1830s, via a bridal crown a hundred years its junior, to contemporary pieces by among others Georg Jensen and Wiwen Nilsson.
Among the many highlights of the auction is a ring in 18K gold, designed by Theresia Hvorslev and set with an abundance of brilliant-cut diamonds. Also worthy of mention is a brooch from the distinguished house of W. A. Bolin in platinum, set with a cultured, beautifully button-shaped bouton pearl – a small masterpiece in its own right. And then there is a truly exquisite ring by Jarl Sandin featuring a brilliant-cut diamond of no less than 3.62 ct.
