The history of ceramics spans thousands of years, but Göteborgs Auktionsverk is now shining a light specifically on the modern era with the themed auction "Scandinavian Ceramics." The journey begins around the turn of the 20th century, featuring oxblood-red luster glazes by Herman Kähler and crystalline glazes from Rörstrand. Moving forward, the collection highlights Ewald Dahlskog’s so-called “ball vases,” the diverse shapes and glazes of Gunnar Nylund and Carl-Harry Stålhane, and the innovative, playful works of Anders Bruno Liljefors and Lisa Larson.
