There will be modern painting, photographic art, ornithology, royal celebrations, a fair amount of hunting — and even a few Moomintroll — as Crafoord Auktioner Lund presents its February Book Auction.
One of the highlights is Pehr Adrian Gadd’s mid-18th-century Finnish hunting accounts, illustrated with woodcuts depicting, among other scenes, bear hunting. Another is Llewellyn Lloyd’s depictions of hunting life in Sweden and Norway, published just over a century later.
In total, more than 180 lots are offered in a catalogue marked by great variation in both subject matter and age.
A warm welcome to Crafoord Auktioner Lund!
