Crafoord Auctions Malmö highlights yet another artistic legacy as they now present 44 works by Gunnar Fohlin. We are introduced to a late modernist whose stylized expression at times borders on the abstract. Subtle Scanian landscapes stretch out, the work in the fishing villages continues, and the still-life paintings soothe the viewer with their quiet rhythm. The selection is drawn from Fohlin’s works of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s and is highly representative of his catalog from that period.
