Helsingborgs Auktionsverk revisits the artistry of Lars Bertle and now presents the second part of a very extensive collection of works.
Lars Bertle was born in 1925 – the same year as the great Paris Exhibition – but it wasn’t until the late 1960s that he devoted himself fully to painting. Like many artists in southern Sweden, he painted the flat landscapes of open plains, yet interpreted them in his own way with a palette that was uniquely his.
His world of motifs also included still lifes and figures in motion, occasionally captured with varying degrees of abstraction. At Helsingborgs Auktionsverk, we are treated to a color experience beyond the ordinary in the theme Lars Bertle: Part 2.
