Spring is here!
With it comes a quality auction from Garpenhus Auktioner. It is a rich and multifaceted catalogue now presented, ranging from Gustav II Adolf's bible to a Gibson Les Paul guitar. In between, a lovely green example of Hans J Wegner's Bamse armchair, a bronze sculpture by David Wretling, "the world's fastest lamp", lithographs by John Bauer and a Phantom page by Jan Håfström are all on show.
Also on offer are modern silver jewellery, Swedish art glass, exclusive wristwatches and a boat axe from the Late Stone Age.
From the Baltic scene comes what is perhaps the auction's most prominent highlight – a vivid and colourful work by Arno Vihalemm. Not to be missed!
