Southern Sweden is always the first to welcome summer, and at Skåne's Auction House, it's even blooming on the ceiling. This is thanks to Jonas Rooth's dazzling chandelier adorned with glass flowers in every conceivable color, hanging above furniture by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist, Bruno Mathsson, and Carl Malmsten. All of this is presented under the title "Selected Items Summer 2024," featuring a theme of selected artworks alongside Swedish design.
The display includes Musselmalet porcelain, a Tudor men's wristwatch, rugs by Ingegerd Silow, and is crowned with a silver swan by Wiwen Nilsson. Among the artworks, a lithograph by Joan Miró, an oil painting by Pelle Åberg brimming with French charm, and a pastel by Vytautas Kasiulis stand out, likely to attract an international audience.
