Gomér & Andersson's premises in Linköping have once again been transformed into a gallery. The walls are filled with paintings and graphics, modern and Swedish, by well-known and perhaps not-so-well-known names. Sven X
Erixson naturally belongs to the former category. The same goes for Lars Pirak, Peder Duke, and Gösta Werner, but you can almost pick any handful of works to get a tantalizing taste of the offerings. An excellent place to start is Per-Fredrik Glommé's icy "January Light" from the mid-70s. Another is Enno Hallek's suggestive and intimate "Curtain." A third is Oscar Cleve's funeral procession, where the only one smiling is the main character himself. Or you can choose entirely different works as an entry point into this broad theme. You are warmly welcome to find your favorites!
