Peter Eugén Nilsson was born in 1978 in Sundsvall, Sweden, but now lives and works in Stockholm. He has established himself as a popular watercolor and nature painter, with numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally. His inspiration comes from the forests of his childhood – dramatic and beautiful landscapes where water often takes center stage, with water lilies as his signature motif.
Peter Eugén has held several exhibitions in and outside of Sweden, and his work has been featured in articles and segments in ABC News, The Washington Post, Connoisseur Magazine, Vogue, and SvD Perfect Guide. His portrait paintings and pop art have also received considerable attention, not least from art dealers and well-known personalities.
In addition to his artistry, he shares his expertise as a teacher of watercolour painting.
