How can I claim a damage?

The item is insured under the seller's / auction house's insurance as long as it is at the auction house. As soon as the item is picked up by you as the buyer or picked up by a carrier, the risk of the goods passes to you as the buyer.

In order to be able to request compensation for items damaged during transport, you must:

• In connection with collection, notify the delivery point.
• Document (photograph) the damage. Items that are "taken home" without notifying the delivery point and documented will not be able to be replaced.
• If you have chosen parcel delivery as a shipping alternative, you must report the transport damage and document (photograph) the damage within 24 hours or no later than the next working day after receipt for the insurance to apply.

Remember to differentiate between whether the damage to the goods occurred during transport or whether it is a complaint / withdrawal of purchase.

If you bought the transport insurance and the goods were damaged / lost during transport , contact Auctionet's support here.

If you did not buy the transport insurance and the goods were damaged / lost during transport or you have something else you want to discuss regarding the item, contact Auctionet's support here.
