Auctionet is a platform where auction houses sell their items. When you buy something on Auctionet, you buy it from the auction house that held the auction. Whether you should contact the auction house or us therefore depends on your question.
As a buyer
Contact the auction house about:
- The item: questions about condition, description, measurements or additional photos before you place a bid.
- Complaints: if the item has a defect or does not match the description. The auction house decides on the complaint.
- Collection: opening hours, booking a collection time, someone collecting at the auction house on your behalf, or extending the collection deadline.
- Storage fees: questions about fees for items that have not been collected from the auction house in time.
Contact Auctionet about:
- Your account: logging in, verifying your identity, a blocked account or changes to your account details.
- Payment: questions about invoices, payments that have not been registered, or refunds.
- Transport: questions about transport you have ordered or want to order through Auctionet, combined shipping, delivery times and tracking.
- Transport damage: if the item has been damaged or lost during transport ordered through Auctionet.
- Right of withdrawal: you can notify either Auctionet or the auction house that you wish to withdraw from a purchase.
As a seller
Contact the auction house about:
- Consignment and valuation: if you want to sell something or have it valued.
- Transport to the auction house: if you need help getting your items to the auction house. Contact the auction house to find out what options are available.
- Your agreement: questions about the reserve price, commission, fees and terms of the sale.
- Your items: when they will be put up for auction, changes to the description, and items that did not sell.
- Payout: when and how you will be paid for sold items.
