Description
Walnut leg stand, loose disc with brass edge and printed world map behind recessed glass top, height 49, diameter 126 cm.
HISTORIAN
The map is a copy of a world map drawn by the Venetian monk and cartographer Fra Mauro around 1450, where the original can be found in the Doge's Palace.
The model was in production during the 1960's/70s.
Condition
Normal wear and tear, the disc with partial moisture stains, the leg position with moisture stains at the legs.
