Height 84, seat height 45 cm HISTORY The curved plank chair has been around for a long time as a model, but it is when Carl Malmsten designs it for the Sörgården student residence at Capellagården in the early 1960s that the piece of furniture gets its name. With a slight cupping in the seat and easy-to-grip handle in the back, it is a close relative of Skedblad. The simple design of both chairs is reminiscent of Axel-Einar Hjorth's sports cabin furniture from the 1930s, which is in high demand today.
