This watch was made as a symbol of peace between the Soviet Union and the United States during the Malta Summit in 1989 when both leaders (Bush Sr and Gorbachev) met. The inscription is VMF Slava (from the Soviet Navy) and USN Belknap (from the US Navy). Quartz movement Slava 3056. Central pointers. Impact protection. Organic glass. Stainless steel back. The diameter is 40 mm, the thickness is 11 mm. The watch runs well and keeps the correct time. Made in the Soviet Union (1989). Serial number 113 on the back. Very rare.

This watch can be used as a stopwatch: the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out.

Condition

The movement works, the watch is used, there are traces of use but no visible scratches on the glass.
