Description

Chagall, Marc, Russian-French artist (1887-1985). Lithographs I-IV ( of 6).) First part of the English edition published by André Sauret, Monte Carlo, and A. Zwemmer, London, together in 1960. The other three parts of the French edition published by André Sauret, Monte Carlo. All between 1960 and 1974. Four folio volumes in the publisher's gray linen binding with text in black. With protective cover and extra transparent protective cover (except the third part.) The first volume with 12 original lithographs, the second part with 12 original lithographs, parts 3 and 4 with 2 original lithographs each including the covers and frontispieces. A total of 28 original lithographs printed by the Mourlot brothers in Paris. In the fifth and sixth parts, there were no original lithographs.

Condition

Light traces of use on the dust covers of the first two parts. The third part is missing the transparent cover. There, the protective cover has a small repair on the inside at the bottom of the back and light edge wear. Fourth part transparent dust jacket with long tear at the bottom of the back, without loss. The inserts are in very good condition.
