Description
Wallenberg, Jacob. My son on the galley (I-II), or an East Indies trip containing all kinds of octopus stuff, gathered on the ship Finland, which sailed from Gothenburg in Dec. 1769, and returned there in June 1771. My son on the galley is a humorous travelogue, written by the ship's chaplain Jacob Wallenberg. Scattered remarks are a continuation of the first journey.
Condition
The strap is rubbed and worn in the front hem at the bottom. Older signatures on the inside of the front cover. Name stamp on title page. Blank cover pages are missing. The insert is slightly stained. The independent supplement at the end has paper damage p. 39-43 in the form of a small hole with a tear. With slight loss of text p. 41-42.
