Vol. II. (XII), 360 p. + 3 fold-out engraved plates. Vol. III. (XVI), 360 p. , (II) + 6 folding engraved plates.
Leonhard Euler, born April 15, 1707 in Basel, died September 18, 1783 in Saint Petersburg, was a Swiss mathematician active in Berlin and Saint Petersburg. He is said to have been one of history's most productive mathematicians.
