The antique gold garnet bangle is made of yellow gold 25/1000 = standard gold = quarter gold and hallmarked. This was the usual alloy for garnet and Biedermeier jewelry in Bohemia and Austria from the 19th century to the turn of the century.
Magnificent bangle with opening hinge and tongue buckle with safety eight. The front is set with large antique rose-cut garnet roses on three tiers.
Inside length 6 cm, top width 2.2 cm, inside height 5.4 cm, weight 19.2 grams.

Condition

Very beautiful, elaborate handwork from the late Biedermeier period around 1860/80 in the best, well-kept condition. Rare in this size, design and first-class condition.
