Description

The Rydberg glasses with simple engraved borders of three stripes, one wide in the middle flanked by two narrow ones, have been produced by several glassworks, Eda, Pukeberg, Reijmyre glassworks, Notsjö in Finland, Aalborg glassworks in Denmark. Notsjö (Nuutajärvi) had the largest sample.
The glass could be bought in the settlement shops around the turn of the century 1900. It is named after Hotel Rydberg 1857-1914 on Gustav Adolfs torg in Stockholm.
Glass approx. H: 13.5 to 14.5 cm - approx. Ø: 7.0 cm.
