PROVENANCE: From the estate of Paul Friedrich Wilhelm Mascher (1895–1970s), who worked in Shanghai between 1922 and 1937 for the companies Hugo Stinnes, Norddeutscher Lloyd, Maersk Line (Copenhagen), and Isbrandtsen (New York). Acquired in China, since then in family ownership.
Condition
The wooden base needs to be reglued.
