A late Victorian mourning brooch with a central glazed heart-shaped central compartment containing locks of hair, surrounded by a border of garnet slices in a gold plated mount. Inscribed to reverse 'SJ Bullock in affectionate rememberance of CA Cadell 25 July 1899' 10.6g. Length 3.5cm.

Good. one garnet with external crack but still appears secure.
