Small 4to (approx. 187x155 mm). (8), (1)-229, (43) pp. Title verso with the national coat of arms in woodcut.
Contemporary somewhat worn brown leather binding, covers with gilt-pressed frame, inside the corners three small flower ornaments in gilt, gilt-ornamented spine with five raised bands, red edges. Occasional marginal notes. Title slightly browned in outer margin. Occasional spots.

Sweden's second church ordinance, after the one from 1571. Replaced by a new one only in 1992.

The book also contains a loosely inserted leaf "Stadga och förbud angående slagsmål, oliud och förargelse i kyrkorne" dated 1686.
