The Volvo PV444 A-model became Volvo's first true volume seller, with approximately 11,800 units produced between 1947-50 (all registered as 1947 models).
The car in the auction has chassis number 10711 and is therefore a relatively late example. It is in need of restoration but remains in a nice, untouched starting condition.

The car is being sold by an estate; it is unclear when it was purchased.
