"A colourful flâneur with an eye for bicycles is the artist Berndt Wennström... He resides in Söder in Stockholm, and it is the streets and parks of Södermalm that he depicts, filled with people in motion. Small-town atmosphere in blue and light grey, or bright red, or rich yellow. The special moments of everyday life, which he is constantly hunting for and attempting to recreate with shifting colour tones."
