A bayonet manufactured by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co, Solingen, Germany.
The bayonet was produced for the Argentine version of the Mauser rifle m/1891 in 7.65 x 53 caliber.
The bayonet is stamped with both the manufacturer's name and the text "Modelo Argentino 1891", partially ground off, as well as the number N 5487 and various smith and inspection stamps on the crossguard, blade spine, and hilt.
The scabbard is stamped with "N 0912" and various inspection stamps.

Total length approx. 54 cm, blade length approx. 40 cm.
Condition
Age-related wear and wear from use, traces of corrosion.
