Starter motor works fine
The engine sounds fine and no abnormal noises are perceived.
The car is assessed to have been unused for approximately 13 years in a heated garage. The car appears to be in good condition and rolled easily during collection.
- According to documentation found, the car appears to have been renovated in 1987, at which time the engine was also replaced from an original 283 cu.in to a 327 cu.in V8 from 1966.
- Soft top with good fit and in good condition but with minor damage.
- Hardtop in good condition but the fit to the car needs adjustment, non-original mounts
- We noted during collection that there was an oil leak under the rear axle. Engine and gearbox appear to be tight but hoses likely need to be checked.
- Engine replaced with a Chevrolet 327 cu.in. V8 (275 hp) from 1966.
