Folio (approx. 360 x 240 mm. the binding). 1 engraved title page, 4 engraved plates and maps, illustrated with numerous woodcuts.
Leather binding from the 18th century, clasps with metal fittings, "Biblia" on the spine.
The so-called Gustav II Adolf Bible, a reprint of the Gustav Vasa Bible from 1540-1541, edited by, among others, Johannes Rudbeckius.
According to information provided, the Bible belonged to Anders Svensson (1762-1839), born in Färgenäs, Hemsjö parish (Alingsås).

Not fully collated. Lacks portrait of Gustav II Adolf, title page, main title page mounted and repaired, certain losses. Overall some repairs and losses, stains, especially on pages at the end and beginning, also applies to plates.
