Description
Manuscript. Strindberg, August, Swedish author, (1849-1912). A handwritten letter in French comprising 6 lines on the front of a letter sheet (approx. 12.8 cm x 12 cm) to a "Maitre. Heureux d'avoir reçu une ligne de votre main je vous salue sans phrases. August Strindberg Stockholm 14 Aout 1904."
This letter was long unknown, but the recipient is the author Josephin Péladan (1839-1918), who was a French writer with a reputation as an authority within occultist circles, and not least by Strindberg, who from 1897 counted himself among his disciples.
