CHINESE LACQUERED MIRROR WITH FIGURATIVE SCENES, AROUND 1920.

Decorative wall mirror with richly decorated lacquer frame from China. The frame is decorated with finely crafted reliefs and depicts traditional Chinese scenes with figures, pavilions, landscape, birds and plants.

The gold-colored relief motifs stand out decoratively from the reddish brown lacquer base with a characteristic craquelure pattern. The curved shape of the frame gives the mirror a particularly decorative effect and makes it an attractive eye-catcher.

There is a simple wall mount on the back.

There are signs of use due to age. The paint shows typical signs of age and craquelure. Overall good decorative condition.
