Percussion carbine, Burnside 5th model for US Army. Produced in 43000 copies in the years 1863-1865. Marked BURNSIDE PATENT MARCH 25th 1856. CAST STEEL. As well as military inspection stamps. Visible cartouche on piston neck. Dissenting No on the House.

Walnut flask, steel fittings. Browned, grooved barrel in .54 caliber. Length 99,5 cm.

A number of brass and plastic cases are included.

Condition

Mechanically well-functioning, race with sharp and clear grooving, slightly matte.

Wear and tear, older rust damage.
