According to the following brochure:
The Autounion team and Italian racing driver Tazio Nuvolari were very successful with the model, winning in 1938 both the Grand Prix of Italy and Donnington, as well as the 1939 Grand Prix of Belgrade.
In 1939 Hermann Paul Müller also won the Grand Prix in France with the model.
