Other:
Jan Brunk 1941-2005, was a highly regarded Swedish silversmith with his own studio in the Södermalm district of Stockholm. He trained as a silversmith apprentice under Claës Giertta 1957–1965 and was subsequently active as a silversmith at the court jeweler C.F. Carlman 1965–1976, before opening his own studio on Södermannagatan, where, among others, Sebastian Schildt was an apprentice.
One of Brunk's closest friends was his silversmith colleague Olle Ohlsson; they worked closely at times as both had a particular eye for stylized, simple, and imaginative forms.
Minor wear from use.
