Percussion pistol marked E.W Bailey on the lock and LONDON on the barrel. Birmingham proof marks under the barrel. Bailey was active 1840-1842 at 15 Newton Row in Birmingham.

Stock with saw handle, octagonal, smoothbore barrel in caliber 13.45mm/0.529. Hinged iron ramrod, nickel silver mounts. Butt cap with storage. Lock with safety and adjustable trigger.

Length 35 cm.

Condition

Mechanically functional but weak at full cock. Wear, dry crack by the lock screw.
