Description

A down-filled Scanian "agedyna", riding pad, embroidered according to an older model in so-called Panama binding, also called dispute stitch, and marked "VM 1932". Probably comes from one of the more southern districts, possibly Torna district. The recurring motif is called "Acanthus rose in slanted frame" which i.a. contains pattern details such as roses and acanthus leaves as well as other classic details such as e.g. eight-petalled roses. The back is in green woolen fabric, the edges are provided with short fringes.
Dimensions 107x54 cm.

Condition

Slightly faded and with Normal wear and tear including holes on the back.
