Van de Graaff generator for generating static electricity
Large and heavy model for educational purposes. Marked Norsteds and on metal tray SÖ 25147.
Information from the seller;
Have feature-tested it many years ago with “hair-raising” results, gave powerful sparks. Recommend replacing the strap that is a bit loose. Have sometimes tightened it by piling up the top roller, nuti orb, into the bearing cage to the appropriate height Important with trimming the belt, cams and grounding. The upper half of the large orb is plastered, the lower half and small orb remain to be plastered to the same standard. Handled with care, extremely high voltage but small currents.
