A horn trumpet made from the horn of the giant Sable Antelope (Hippotragus Niger Variani). With piercing and mouth piece towards the tip, mounted with fur banding to the body. 66 cm.
"The Giant sable antelope lives in forests near water where there is abundant vegetation. The horns can reach a length of 1 1/2 meters and the horn used for this trumpet is probably taken from a young male. This trumpet was most likely used for war, hunting and to warn villagers of attack".
