Description

To include a French copy of a Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonesis, labelled 'Copie of Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonesis Faciebat Anno 1721', back length 34cm, total length 56cm, and a unlabelled German 4/4 violin, back length 36cm, total length 59cm. (2).

Condition

French Strad copy is lacking bridge and chinrest, various dings and scuffs, marks and wear throughout, 'AM' written in chalk to the fingerboard. German example is lacking one tuning peg, strings, bridge and tailpiece, a split travelling upwards from the base of the body front, some repaired scuffs to the front and various dings and scuffs.
